The Speed of Sound Car

Do you still call something that goes 1000 mph on land a car anymore?

This image was taken at the Blackrock Desert Playa in Nevada. It is about 2 hours from Reno.
This is also the place where Burningman takes place each year.

The most winningest Corvette ever.

I took this photo of this historic automibile for the prestigious automibile auction in Scottsdale AZ.
It had been restored to it's original condition. It took 20 years to do but it sold for $625 thousand.
He was hoping for a Million.

My first underwater camera

My wife Victoria and I went to Maui for the first time and I just had to get a underwater housing for my point and shoot digital camera. I came away with an amazing image of the sea turtle and discovered a guy under the water that seemed to be using the bottom the the sea as his gym. He said he was training for surfing season.

Tony Hawk, Jessie James, Ryan Dunn and PINK

I was hired to cover the Gumball Rally Road Race that rolled thru Reno.

The goal was to drive 3000 miles as fast as possible while driving exotic cars across the country.

It's pretty cool to be dropped into a room full of Celebs.  It beats going to the Dentist!

Celebrity golf with John O'Hurley (Mr Peterman) Cheech Marin and Alice Cooper

Last summer I had the pleasure to photograph a private celebrity golf
tournament. I was able to spend time with John O'hurley (Seinfeld's Mr Peterman), Cheech Marin (Cheech and Chong),
and Alice Cooper. Again I never know what I will get to do next. I love my life.

President George W. Bush and Air Force One

Hi Mom!

I made a call to the White House the day before the President came to visit Reno to photograph the arrival of Air Force One.
I was selected as one of the 3 still photographers allowed to be on the runway. They have shoot to kill orders and told us that "when we are wheels down, nobody move around much and DO NOT come off the platform we were standing on".

The National Guard Military personal were kept back much further than we were. He did not get to meet him, but what a big deal.
The production that goes into his arrival is astounding.

Airplanes have always interested me and there is no finer Jet than this one. I know Bush is not everyones favorite, but it
was a once in a lifetime experience.
