Congressman Dean Hellers Daughters Wedding

I was so pleased that I was asked to shoot Nevada Congressman Dean Heller’s Daughters wedding. It was held at The Thunderbird Lodge on Lake Tahoe. This is the former Wittell Estate Mansion and is the only property on the East Shore of Lake Tahoe. What a day we had. It went from full sun, then cloudy and just when we were to take the formals photos, it started to rain, then a rainbow came out. Amazing! Isn’t rain on your wedding day supposed to be good luck? Shannon Morse did a fantastic of a job coordinating the event. Everyone had to scramble to have everything moved inside, due to the rain. This is not what Hilary and Eddie had in mind but it actually made their day intimate and warm. It felt like one big family.

This was one amazing day. Their wedding day is going to be hard to top.

We ended up on a private Jet that their Uncle got for their Honeymoon trip.

The plane was running when we got there and my heart was pounding.

It was like we were in a movie scene. Enjoy the shots.

Shooting a show like this is tough. You have to be on your guard at all times, be an expert at getting through thick crowds fast and without having a drink spilled on your gear and ruin your $3k worth of camera equipment…. and still get the shots needed to make the client happy….. priceless in the end.

I was asked to shoot on a movie set with Mario Van Peebles and Bill Pullman and Shane West.

They asked me to be a Naval Officer in one of the scenes.
I guess my silver hair was a good thing.

I just returned from the annual WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) in Las Vegas. What an amazing trip this was. First off I would like to thank each and every I was able to spend time with. Andy and Brian Marchus (the 3 and 4th generation photographers from Manhattan, NYC.)
John Solano from Beverly Hills and Davide Edepas from Miami. These guys are the industry leaders in my world of epic photography. I invite you to take a look at what the top of the world looks like from their vision and honed skills. Thanks guy's. I had a blast. and to Jeremi Peck... you rock!

Next I would like to share with everyone that I entered only 1 image for the 16x20 print competition and actually won a ribbon "Award of Excellence". The image was of former President Bill Clinton. I was also able to secure a date and possibly a sponsor to start my public speaking endevor. Thanks to ACI photo Lab. I was also invited to speak at one of the largest photography schools in Brazil by the owner Vinicius Matos. I love the crispness of his work. I was really pleased at how much support I had. We served pink Champagne

My New Venture

A friend of mine Isha Casagrande and I are starting a new company called Platinum Lipstick.
It is a Fashion Model Imaging Company. We will train,photograph and create the tools
needed for a Model to get into the business. We hope to build this up to become an Modeling Agency soon.

Floor Play Dancers by Kiley Howard

I have always admired classical dancers and the way they can fly around the floor like they are floating on air.
Last week i had the opportunity to photograph just that. Each couple represents a different country and each have a
look unique to their country. It was a cool experience and felt blessed being there to do it. I gave a set of proofs to the Producer and he went nuts. Enjoy. Kiley

DJ Paul Mendez and Master Jay from Scottland and Qatar

My friends Eric and Travis had this DJ (on the left) flown out here from Scotland to treat us with the very best of electronic music. Paul Mendez brought with him his very best friend Master Jay who came from Dosa, Qutar.

It is near Dubai in the middle east. He had never played in the states before. The Nightclub Bliss has the most amazing sound system in our area. Paul and Jay were both so humble and nice to be around. We had a blast at the club
(I left at 7:45 AM) and met up the next day for lunch. Here are a few photos from the adventure.
